All cheques will take one week to clear before merchandise is shipped. C.O.D. for all orders shipped UPS add $9.00.
All prices quoted are in Canadian Dollars.
What is Taxable? All
orders shipped to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Labrador and Newfoundland are
subject to the HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) on the total of the order, including
shipping and handling. All orders shipped within
B.C. are subject to 12% HST.
All orders shipped outside of British
Columbia are subject to the applicable Provincial
taxes. HST: 12% BC, 13% ON, NS & 15% NB, NF
GST:- 5% where applicable

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Satisfaction Guarantee:
We will exchange or give a full refund on most items within 15 days of
purchase, subject to a possible 10% restocking fee on selected items.
Before returning any item you must first contact us within 15 days of the invoice
date for a confirmation number. No
returns will be accepted without a confirmation number.
Defective merchandise may be returned for a same item exchange only.
All merchandise must be returned in “as new” condition with all original boxes,
packing materials, documentation, and original sales receipt.
We can only issue a credit or refund to the original purchaser.
Purchases must be returned with shipping prepaid in order to receive credit. Personalized,
assembled and custom orders, and shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Warranty: All warranties
expressed or implied are those of the manufacturer's unless otherwise written.
The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product.
Under no circumstances shall Strictly Cellars
Okanagan Inc. be liable for any special
incidental, indirect or punitive damages or for
any consequential damages, including spoilage of
wine, even if Strictly Cellars Okanagan Inc.
knows or is informed that such damages are
possible. It is your responsibility to insure
your wine, and take all reasonable, necessary
precautions to safeguard its condition.
Wine Storage,
Racking & Preservation Systems:
Most wine storage and racking systems are built to order from the manufacturer
and require additional delivery time.
All wine storage units, racking systems, cooling units
and wine preservation systems require prepayment. A
20% restocking charge may be imposed for any cancellations
after
seven (7) days from the order date or for returns
after purchase.
Modular wine cellars and racking are
non-refundable once assembled. The
customer is responsible for all freight charges.
Deliveries:
Stock
merchandise, not set up for immediate delivery, will be ordered
from the manufacturer for the date indicated. Delivery dates are
agreed to in good faith, however, they are subject to availability
from the manufacturer. In the case of a delay, we will do our best
to keep you informed of the status of your order. Changes in delivery
dates will be subject to availability of stock and scheduling restrictions.
If a delivery
date is not set up at the time of sale, you will be contacted and
a date confirmed. If you call the day before your delivery, we can
inform you of the approximate time (i.e. AM or PM). We regret that
guaranteed time deliveries are not available, although we will try
our best to be there within one hour of the indicated time frame.
If you have requested a COD (cash on delivery) delivery, the balance
is payable to our delivery staff, by cash, MasterCard, VISA, or
cheque with appropriate back-up.
We regret that our delivery staff are unable to remove their safety
shoes in your home for safety purposes. If you are concerned about
soilage, we would ask that you cover up the areas in question in
advance of our delivery.
We would also ask that you ensure that all walkways are clear prior
to our delivery (example snow and ice), for the safety of our delivery
personnel and of your purchase. Our delivery personnel have the
right and or obligation to postpone delivery due to unsafe conditions
based on their judgement or discretion and relevant legislation.
Shipping:
All shipments
under 100 lbs will be shipped via United Parcel Service or Parcel
Post delivery, including USA. Shipments over 100 lbs, will be shipped
via freight carrier. Customer’s preferred carrier will be
used on a COLLECT basis or provide your account number to us when
placing your order.
Claims: All claims
for damages, overages, shortages or defective merchandise must be made within
five (5) days of receipt of shipment.
Carefully inspect all merchandise before signing the release with the freight
carrier or delivery personnel.
NOTE:
Wine cellar and racking shipments are not well suited to
all carries distribution systems and are subject to high risk of
damage. For these reasons,
these shipments will be shipped, but only at the consignees risk.
(i.e. Strictly Cellars Okanagan Inc. shall not be liable and will
not accept claims for any loss that may be sustained due to loss,
damage or delay in shipment.)
All shipments will be insured, but damage claims are subject
to the carries approval. |
